In a fast fact article published by Build Healthy Places Network, they shared that more that half of older adults aged 75+ live alone which increases their risk for social isolation and negative health outcomes.

During today’s discussion, we talked about loneliness and whether it’s an inevitable part of aging and what we could possibly do now to prepare for it in our later years.

Preparing for Your Second Act

There was an article posted in Kiplinger about preparing for your life after retirement. They suggested that you begin to start thinking and planning for this about six to twelve months before you actually leave your job.

Joe and Mike share their thoughts on this idea along with some of the advice that they share with their clients.

Science now has the ability to calculate your biological age with greater accuracy and in turn your potential longevity.

We discussed what impacts we think this may have an whether we would like to know our own longevity predictions.
