Aging Attitudes

Medical and technology advances have done an excellent job of extending our life expectancy.  Life expectancy in Canada has now increased from 71.13 years in 1960 to 81.07 years in 2011.   Along with this extension of life however comes discussions around the quality of life versus the quantity of life.

An international study completed by Havas Worldwide explored the topic of aging to better understand some of society’s attitudes towards aging.  In the study, they surveyed 7,213 adults in 19 countries.  Here are some of the highlights of their study outlined in the following infographic.
